In the previous chapter, we learned that Naruto ordered Boruto to flee with Shikamaru and others. Sai suggested them all to take shelter in a secret underground facility with Amado and Kawaki. Shikamaru aprroved his idea and he wanted to take Boruto with him, but Sasuke said that he should go ahead while he talked with Boruto. Sasuke stated that he and Naruto would have a hard time to take down Isshiki. He questioned Boruto about his change in a fight against Boro, and Boruto claimed that he had changed into Momoshiki. He was in fear if he would change into Momoshiki completely, but Sasuke promised him that he would take down Boruto, or even kill him if that happened. Then Boruto borrowed Sasuke’s headband before they headed out to aid Naruto. 

Boruto Manga Synopsis

Naruto was a young shinobi who sought to achieve his dream of being his village’s greatest ninja and hokage. The story of the son of Naruto Uzumaki – Boruto – starts several years after the Shinobi war. As the son of the seventh hokage, he felt angry because Naruto put the village before his family. Boruto persuades Uchiha to train him and team up with Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki to prepare himself for the coming Chuunin Exam. This story followed the journey of Boruto and his ninja team led by Konohamaru Sarutobi. He tried to find out what his dream was for the future by completing mission and obtaining insight and knowledge.
