Boruto Manga Chapter 48 Recap

Kashin Koji had to stop Isshiki after he had gotten resurrected. He was using his fire jutsu but Isshiki was only shrinking them. Kashin Koji used another jutsu but could not defeat Isshiki anyhow. Isshiki tells Kashin Koji himself that his body can not survive longer than three days. He had to find Amado, and believed Amado was in Konoha village. Amado was given common civil rights in the village of Konoha, but without Naruto and Shikamaru ‘s permission, he can not go beyond the boundaries of the village. Since it was a critical moment, Amado understood, and did not protest. He begins to tell everyone in the room that if Naruto and Sasuke cooperated they might be able to beat Isshiki. They must prepare themselves, for he believed Isshiki would come to place another karma on Kawaki before he died. Back to the fight, Kashin Koji used his Kuchiyose jutsu to flee after he was wounded. Isshiki used his teleportation jutsu and appeared at Konoha village.

Boruto Manga Synopsis

Naruto was a young shinobi who sought to achieve his dream of being his village’s greatest ninja and hokage. The story of the son of Naruto Uzumaki – Boruto – starts several years after the Shinobi war. As the son of the seventh hokage, he felt angry because Naruto put the village before his family. Boruto persuades Uchiha to train him and team up with Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki to prepare himself for the coming Chuunin Exam. This story followed the journey of Boruto and his ninja team led by Konohamaru Sarutobi. He tried to find out what his dream was for the future by completing mission and obtaining insight and knowledge.

I hoped Isshiki would be dead before he could put another Karma on the body of Kawaki. If he did, then all efforts done by Kashin Koji and Amado had gone for nothing.
